Genomics and Toxicogenomics

Our Genomics solutions utilize thousands of genomics samples characterized by hundreds of clinical parameters and encompass key therapeutic areas, such as onocologic, metabolic, cardiovascular, central nervous system, and inflammatory diseases. All Gene Logic's Genomics solutions are based on the comprehensive genome-wide gene expression data contained in the BioExpress® System. This industry-leading database contains histopathology, clinical chemistry, hematology, treatment, follow-up and many other clinical details for over 19,000 clinically-defined tissue, blood, and cell samples from human clinical studies and complimentary animal models. In a single platform, all of the phenotypic, clinical and experimental information is coupled seamlessly with high-quality Affymetrix GeneChip® microarray gene expression data. The software analysis tools enable researchers to maximize the benefit of the BioExpress® System data to quickly reach powerful conclusions and formulate hypothesis. Our Genomic solutions include:

Gene Logic's Toxicogenomics solutions utilize our extensive collection of gene expression profiles of treated rat tissues and primary cells of greater than 14,000 samples. Treated samples are obtained from carefully designed studies using well characterized pharmaceuticals and chemicals to develop products and services that address toxicology issues. Predictive toxicogenomics algorithms have been built and validated using this extensive data set. These algorithms are used to predict potential human toxicity from rat data. Additional applications include assessing human risk, issue resolution and prioprization of lead compounds, all to enhance your understanding of your compound effects and to help make better informed product decisions.
